Scott Dobson has been an independent Producer/Director for over 20 years in documentary, factual, and corporate productions.

Currently Producing and Directing Elvis In Love (Working Title) for Vision TV Canada.

As Producer, the very successful spam: The Documentary for CBC/Court TV, (Nominated for 2 Gemini) Awards. He has produced 3 seasons of the hit show Bingo and a Movie (72 episodes) for the Aboriginal People's Television Network, Jazzman (13 episodes) and then Bluesman (13 episodes), both for Bravo! Canada. The Memphis Blues Society nominated Bluesman for a prestigious "Handy KBA Award".

As Director and writer created the 3 hour documentary series The Church Of Elvis for Vision TV.

As Director, he has completed the factual shows, Breeder Of The Pack 2 (2 episodes) for Animal Planet, Gold Medal Plates (7 episodes) for CTV Travel, Rooms That Rock (23 episodes and holiday special) for HGTV, Diva on a Dime 3 (13 episodes) for Global, Things We Do For Love (4 episodes) for Life Channel; music and comedy with Ear To The Ground (3 episodes) and Comics (3 episodes) both for CBC, and many other single episode productions for Prime, Discovery Canada, and Global.

As Producer/Director he created the award-winning Keep On Shucking documentary seen on Food Canada/US, has overseen many projects with the famed Second City in Toronto and Chicago from TV spots, to documentaries to the critically acclaimed re-release of the beloved SCTV onto DVD for the first time; a massive project taking 4 years to complete.

In the corporate sphere Scott has Produced/Directed for clients including Volkswagen Canada, RIM, RBC, Coca-Cola, PolyGram Group, and E*Trade Canada.
